HEALTH COACHING FAQ
What results can I expect?
Honestly, the results are up to you! Your health coach will guide and support you the whole way, but your own openness and commitment to your coach’s recommendations is what really determines your progress. That said, here are some common results you could see: weight loss, increased energy, decreased anxiety, improved sleep, increased physical fitness, increased enjoyment of physical activity, improved eating habits, improved digestion, clearer skin, improved feelings of life satisfaction… How does that sound?!
how do i schedule sessions?
Schedule online (fourwellness.co/schedule), where you'll find an up-to-date calendar of all available appointment slots. Standard hours are Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. (Pacific).
What if I have to reschedule?
Not a problem! Simply use the online rescheduling feature (also accessible via the link in your reminder emails) to choose a new date that works for you. (Just remember the 24-hour session cancellation policy.)
What if I have an emergency and can’t make my session?
We offer cancellations up to 24 hours before your session. Unfortunately, due to coaches’ busy schedules, if you need to cancel within this window, the session will be forfeited. However, because we like you, you’re welcome to reach out to your coach via email with any questions or updates you would like to discuss.
What technology do I need?
Our coaching sessions are conducted via Appear.in, a virtual meeting platform accessible on desktop, tablet or mobile. The vast majority of program communication is sent via email.
who will my coach be?
Upon reviewing your health history and scheduling availability, we'll assign you one of our health coaches who best fits your needs. All of our coaches are trained integrative nutrition and holistic wellness experts. Once assigned, they'll reach out to you via email with an introduction and to share a unique link to access their scheduling calendar.
What if I don’t like it?
What’s not to like about health, happiness and overall well-being?! (Just kidding.) If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with your program/service, please contact your coach or email hello [at] fourwellness.co.
Why don't you offer refunds?
Our program is designed for people serious about improving your health and well-being. Change doesn't happen overnight, and we expect that program participants will follow through the duration of the program, in order to achieve your best results. If you're not sure you want to do this, or think you may want to cancel the program, it's probably not for you.
Why don’t you offer a shorter program?
Your best results are our ultimate goal, and six months is the amount of time we find is necessary for truly sustainable lifestyle changes.
How is health coaching different than working with a doctor?
Put simply: doctors are trained in medicine; health coaches are trained in using food and lifestyle as medicine. Health coaching is not a replacement for regular visits with your doctor. Rather, health coaching is actually a complement to other healthcare services you may be receiving, including working with your doctor, specialists or alternative healthcare practitioners. You can find more information about the difference between doctors, nutritionists and health coaches here.
Is this program covered by my health insurance?
Probably not. However, your program fee may be eligible for a health spending account. Check with your employer for more information.
how do i know if you can help me?
We work with people who have minor health concerns or simply a desire for improved long-term health and well-being. We use nutrition and lifestyle to promote overall health and address the root cause of health concerns, including:
Acne // Dry, dull skin // Digestive issues // Weight gain // Low energy // Autoimmune disease // Stress & anxiety // Bloating // Food allergies & intolerances // Trouble sleeping // PMS & menstrual problems // Nutrient deficiency // Hormone imbalance // Frequent illness // Brain fog // Cravings // Unhealthy habits
We do not work with life-threatening conditions. We may be able to serve as a complementary service for people receiving proper medical treatment for severe, complex or advanced conditions (e.g. cancer, diabetes, addiction, etc.). Please contact us with any questions about your specific health condition(s) before enrolling.
