Here at Four Wellness Co. we’ve built an audience of readers interested in health, wellness, and health coaching—but as we transition to helping health coaches and wellness professionals set up your own online businesses, we no longer offer 1:1 health coaching services ourselves.

So! We’re building an online directory of available health coaches to help connect our readers with the health coaching services they’re looking for—and help connect our health coaches with the motivated clients you’re looking for.

Health Coach Directory Membership includes:

• Health Coach Spotlight blog post highlighting your practice + expertise

• promotion via our website, email newsletter + social network

• exclusive access to submitting guest posts for our wellness blog

Your directory listing will include your photo, a description of your practice and services offered, and links to your website and/or social channels.

The Health Coach Spotlight blog post is an opportunity to share more about your background, your offerings, and a key wellness tip you offer your clients. And, you’re welcome to submit a guest post on a wellness topic of your choice, to be featured on our blog.

Our team will assist in publishing your listing and promoting via our website, email list and Pinterest account—a combined audience of 400k+.

How does joining the directory help me?

It helps connect you with health coaching clients!

People come to our website looking for health coaching, and we’d like to pass that interest along to you. The Health Coach Directory is designed to provide you exposure to our audience, highlight your services and expertise, and give our readers the opportunity to connect with you.

What information is included in my listing?

Your directory listing will include:

• your name (or business name, if applicable)

• your headshot

• a brief description of your coaching practice

• info about your services and areas of expertise

• your city, state and country

• links to your website and/or social channels

What will my directory listing look like?

The Health Coach Directory is not yet launched. In the meantime, here’s an example that’s pretty similar to the layout you’ll see:

Do I need to have a website to be listed in the directory?

Though we highly recommend having a website for your coaching practice, you’re also welcome to include links to your social channels if you prefer. (And, your email address will be included on your profile for prospective clients to connect with you there!)

What if my business isn’t launched yet?

Even if you’re still in the process of building your health coaching practice, you can still join us! It’s actually a great idea to include a listing in the directory with a note that you’re launching soon, collecting names of prospective clients who are interested in being notified when you launch your services.

Do I need a health coaching certification to be included?

You do not need a specific health coaching certification, though we will ask about your certification and experience, to ensure we’re only promoting qualified health coaches and wellness professionals.

What’s the difference between the directory listing, the Health Coach Spotlight post, and the guest post submissions?

Great question! These are three separate ways to be featured, all included in your Health Coach Directory subscription:

• The Directory Listing is your brief, formatted “profile” that will appear alongside other health coaches in our Health Coach Directory database. It will include key information about your practice and link to your website and/or social channels.

• The Health Coach Spotlight is an interview-style blog post that highlights your health coaching practice, your background and specific areas of expertise, and helps tell your story in more detail. We publish these on our blog an ongoing basis, in the order they’re submitted.

• You also have the opportunity to submit a Guest Post to our blog—this is an article on a wellness topic of your choice. Each guest post includes a brief bio, headshot and link to your website. It’s another opportunity to share your expertise and get in front of a larger audience to grow your health coaching practice.

How do I send you my content?

All content will be submitted through our Health Coach Member Page, which you’ll be provided access to upon joining.

What if I need to make updates to my listing?

If you’ve added a new service, expanded your areas of expertise, or started a new YouTube channel—no problem! On your Member Page you’ll be able to submit any updates for your listing down the road. Easy peasy!

How will the directory be organized?

The directory will be sorted randomly each time it loads—providing fair exposure to all of our health coaches. 😇

How many new clients can I expect to get from this?

Hard to say—we can share your info with prospective clients, but it’s still up to you to “seal the deal.” Feel free to check out our health coach resources for more info on branding and marketing your business to connect with your ideal clients. (And, we’ll be sending more details to Health Coach Directory members on optimizing your profile and strategically promoting your services.)

I can’t afford the fee. Are there any other options?

Well, $40/month is some of the cheapest advertising you’ll find. 😄 The directory fee is designed for you to easily make back your investment (many times over!) by booking clients who find you through the directory. It also helps ensure we’re only featuring health coaches serious about growing their business. As such, we do not offer discounts.

What’s your cancellation policy?

You’re able to cancel your listing at the end of your billing cycle (monthly or annual), from the back-end of your account. Your directory listing and Health Coach Spotlight will be removed from the site at the end of your subscription. (However, if you’ve submitted a guest post to our blog, that will remain published.)
